In the Radio Industry.

First Introduced to the world of radio through a local community training course in Corby, I have gained the confidence and experience of producing and hosting shows weekly since 2017 with my first show at age 16. Before then I built up a reputation for being the traffic and travel reporter for my local town, being the fly in the sky for people needing to know the latest when travelling by car or train.
Since then I've produced and presented a show on National College Radio in Salford called 'Rhys Beard's Eclectic Mix' and as a part of the team we promote the radio industry to college students who could find a similar pathway to me into the industry.
My experience of creating radio shows alongside audio drama and soundscaping at uni have helped give me a firm knowledge of how the industry works.

I'm always excited to learn new skills in the trade and take opportunities that can help my career forward, whilst also passing on these skills and my enthusiasm to other people who are interested.
